Together with her staff, Barbara Casey will provide you with individualized attention to meet your needs. A Baby Step Adoption and Adoption Associates, LLC finalizes up to 100 adoptions per year for all types of families. We have placed hundreds of infants and children in the United States. We can also assist or provide legal services in agency or foreign adoption, as well as step-parent, single parent, same sex and relative adoptions. A Baby Step Adoption has recently expanded to include assisted reproductive law, including embryo adoption and surrogacy.

We tailor each adoption to the needs of the adopting parents, birthmother, and birthfather. For example, while some clients prefer closed adoptions, others eagerly seek open adoptions. There is no set format. Legal fees can be structured on a flat fee basis or an hourly rate. We are a full service agency, providing a large range of adoption services and helping both women facing an unplanned pregnancy and those looking to adopt.

A Baby Step Adoption is staffed with qualified and caring staff to take you through the entire adoption process. Our caseworkers work closely with each family throughout their adoption to be sure they have all the support they need. Linda Carlson, our Assistant Director, has been with Barbara for over 20 years. Shirley Beck is our administrative assistant and John Carlson is a family law attorney and case worker. Our other caseworkers consist of Sarah Magarity, Maggie Norrett, Jennifer Sullivan and Kelly Weidner. Melissa Yoch, a previous intern, has joined our staff as a caseworker and adoption assistant before she heads off to law school. Shannon Casey and Annie Milligan are our two adoption coordinators.

Barbara B. Casey, Esquire, Director of A Baby Step Adoption and Adoption Associates, LLC. a licensed Adoption Agency, is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania Law School and has limited her practice to adoption. She is a Fellow of the Pennsylvania Academy of Adoption Attorneys, the American Academy of Adoption Attorneys, the local and state bar associations and Resolve. Barbara has over 20 years experience as an adoption lawyer.

On September 16, 2008, Barbara B. Casey, director of Adoption Associates, LLC, traveled to the White House to receive the 2008 "Angel in Adoption" award from the Congressional Coalition on Adoption Institute.
